Section 8 Fraud in Federal Court
As a licensed practitioner in the Federal Northern District of California, Jason Hain has prosecuted several landlords who commit fraud against Section 8 tenants under the Federal False Claims Act. The law considers such fraud to be fraud against the Federal Government because the fraud defeats the purpose of the Section 8 program which is funded by Federal subsidies. These claims are brought on behalf of the tenant and the Federal Government which entitles our clients to a portion of the stiff penalties imposed upon those who commit fraud against the Federal Government under the Act.
